Ailuroedus is a genus of birds in the Ptilonorhynchidae family (bowerbirds).

Species

The common name "catbird" refers to these species'"wailing cat-like calls".[1] Ailuroedus likewise is from the Greek for "cat-singer" or "cat-voiced".[2]
