Asian green broadbills, Calyptomenidae are a family of broadbills found in Africa. They are closely related to the eurylaimid broadbills, sapayoa, asities, and the pittas in the group Eurylaimides.
Taxonomy[]
The Asian green broadbills were once together with the Smithornis broadbills and Eurylaimid broadbills in the broader family of Eurylaimidae. The asities were once in Eurylaimidae too.[1]
