Canirallus is a genus of bird in the rail family, Rallidae. This genus includes one species from wet forests in West and Middle Africa, and two species from forests in Madagascar.

The two species from Madagascar are sometimes placed in the genus Mentocrex instead, leaving Canirallus for only the Grey-throated Rail.
