Chubbia is a genus of snipes in the Scolopacidae family.
Taxonomy[]
They were formerly in the genus Gallinago. Gibson (2010) and Baker et al. (2012) found that Imperial Snipe is more closely related to the New Zealand snipes than to the other snipes.[1][2]
