Alcippe is a genus of birds in the Leiothrichidae family; however, it was once a genus in the Timaliidae (typical babbler) family. It used to be a catchall for the "fulvettas", but has been recently split into 5 independent genera: Alcippe, Schoeniparus, Fulvetta, Pseudominla and Lioparus.
It contains the following species:
- Javan Fulvetta, Alcippe pyrrhoptera
- Brown Fulvetta, Alcippe brunneicauda
- Brown-cheeked Fulvetta, Alcippe poioicephala
- Black-browed Fulvetta, Alcippe grotei
- Nepal Fulvetta, Alcippe nipalensis
- David's Fulvetta, Alcippe davidi
- Yunnan Fulvetta, Alcippe fratercula
- Mountain Fulvetta, Alcippe peracensis
- Huet's Fulvetta, Alcippe hueti
- Grey-cheeked Fulvetta, Alcippe morrisonia
