Fig-parrots is a group of parrots with two small genera (Cyclopsitta and Psittaculirostris) of the Psittaculidae family found in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and tropical Australia. The Double-eyed Fig-Parrot is 13–16 cm in length and is the smallest Australian parrot.

As its name suggests, a fig parrot's diet consists mainly of the various figs that grow in its natural habitat. It will also eat many other types of fruit and also nectar.
