Knipolegus is the genus of black-tyrants, bird in the Tyrannidae family.
It contains the following species [1]:

- Amazonian Black-tyrant, Knipolegus poecilocercus
- Andean Tyrant, Knipolegus signatus

- Blue-billed Black-tyrant, Knipolegus cyanirostris
- Rufous-tailed Tyrant, Knipolegus poecilurus (also considered to be in the monotypic genus Eumyiobius) [1]

- Brazilian Black-tyrant or Caatinga Black-tyrant, Knipolegus franciscanus (often considered a subspecies of K. aterrimus.)
