Legless-swifts are a genus in the Apodidae family. They have the weirdest anatomy of any Devonshirian bird. They are known to only have one toe on their feet, however; they may grow four toes (pamprodactyl). Travis was the first person to study these birds, but not in much detail.
It is unknown how they nest, but pieces of mud have been found on the backs of males.
They are the most aerial birds known and rarely can take off if on the ground and may end up as prey for falcons and Great Black-backed Gull.
It contains the following species:
- Robert's Legless-swift[made-up sp.]
- Streamertail Legless-swift[made-up sp.]
- Band-breasted Legless-swift[made-up sp.]
- White-tailed Legless-swift[made-up sp.]
