Melophus is a subgenus of Emberiza. It contains the following species[1]:


Black-headed Bunting

The Black-headed and Red-headed Buntings are closely related, and may hybridize where they meet[2]. They tend to to have black on them, while the females are have brown somewhere on their bodies[2][3].
