A Monal is a bird of genus Lophophorus of the Pheasant family, Phasianidae. There are three species and several sub-species within the genus Lophophorus:
- Himalayan Monal Lophophorus impejanus
- Sclater's Monal Lophophorus sclateri
- Chinese Monal Lophophorus lhuysii
