One of the elements of Earth's periodic table. It has atomic number 7, and is a nonmetal. It has the symbol/abbreviation N. In normal conditions, it is an invisible gas, but if electricity is passed through it, it will glow bluish-purple. It is the most common element is Earth's atmosphere.
