Pluto is a dwarf planet found in the Solar System, and was discovered in the year of 1930. It was originally known as a planet (and the ninth planet overall in the Solar System) up until the year 2006, where it was redefined as a dwarf planet.
Pluto has five moons which include the following: Charon, Nix, Hydra, Kerberos, and Styx. Charon is notable in that it has a diameter that is over half the size of Pluto's own size.
