Rifleman or tītipounamu in the Maori language, Acanthisitta chloris is a species of New Zealand wren. The Rifleman is the smallest bird in New Zealand.[2] It has two subspecies, South Island Rifleman, A. c. chloris[3] and North Island Rifleman, A. c. granti.[4]
