Scrubwren-whistler, Pachycareinae is a subfamily of birds in the Pardalotidae family. It contains two species, the Fernwren and Goldenface.

Description

Sexes virtually alike in both species, the female Fernwren is duller;[2] the female Goldenface has a sooty ear patch.[3]
