American Herring Gull is larger, with yellow eyes and orange orbital ring, lighter grey mantle, darker-tipped primaries on upperparts and underparts, paler legs and heavier bill. Iceland Gull has a lighter grey mantle, usually yellow or sometimes brown eyes, translucent pale wing tips.[1]
