A location; a country. It lies in Europe. Also known as Great Britain. The United Kingdom is a major nation, partially administering most of the British Empire. It consists of four sub-nations: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The former three make up the island Britain, while Northern Ireland lies on the island of Ireland.
