The War Eagle is a huge and very rare raptor. According to legend, "it only appears when there is war"; however, this is just a myth. The possible reason it only appears to feed on the mortally wounded and dead bodies. It is the only species of eagle with a 15 foot wingspan, other than the Haast's Eagle.
This is species should not be difficult to identify, as it is the largest bird of prey in Devonshire.
Not much is known about the War Eagle. Rare, only encountered by those brave enough to scale the Glennshire Mountains. Probably soars on updrafts with its giant wings and may have trouble landing, like the Wandering Albatross.
Unknown, known to feed on dead bodies.
